To whom it may concern,
While by including my payment, I am, in fact, agreeing to pay this parking citation, I would like to bring to attention that the City of Sacramento should make sure to keep foliage trimmed away from warning signs if they plan to enforce the warnings from said signs.
Having just moved to the area from Texas less than 2 weeks ago (where we don’t have weird day/hour/side of street paring regulations), and being completely unable to see any visible warning signs posted from where I had parked, one could imagine my irritation and dismay when I was ticketed for parking in an inappropriate (albeit poorly marked zone.) It was not until post-citation that I walked down the block a ways to move some tree branches that were – sure enough – entirely covering the sign posting that I could not park there during certain hours.
For the sake of future California-ignorant and ‘foreign’ drivers, please make sure all signs are visible for fair citation purposes.
Kindest and best regards,
Captain, U.S. Air Force
UGH! Not fair!
